Listen for the ordinary detail.
A plan may sound agreeable until you imagine actually living with it. Today, bring the conversation down to one practical detail and say what would suit you. Agreement is more useful when both people understand it. Nobody needs to be hurried into a certainty they don't yet feel.
Choose one practical detail to discuss together.
